    I recommend you to hire a tempo if the travellers are 8 or more.. If it is friends and if you have a valid indian license... I would recommend you to hire a bike ...If it couples or if you don't know driving I recommend you to rent a car....if you are solo traveller or a budget traveller then I recommend you to go in HRTC buses

    By cab, busses are also available depanding upon your comfort, you can visit Shimla first then Manali

    Just get down at chandigarh railway station many cab drivers will ask you for manali shimla :)

    Either you can book a cab or take a roadways Volvo bus to kullu and deboard at bhuntar for Manali. Shimla is a separate route.

    Best option is to hire a cab, so that you are comfortable in your journey. other option is busses.. but a little less safe during these Covid times
