Hii,I'll be happy to answer your travel queries from my experience ☺️. * you can easily book a cab ride from roa to Gokarna and it will take approximately 3.5 hours to reach there .Bus rides aren't preferred because it takes approximately 7 hours to reach the place . Panjim is the place where you can board the bus to Gokarna .if you have extra time , prefer bus journey only then , since views are great but time it takes is too much . *The distance between Goa Airport (GOI) and Gokarna is 106 km. The road distance is 147.6 km. The best way to get from Goa Airport (GOI) to Gokarna without a car is to train which takes 2h 33m and costs ₹1,400 - ₹1,800. *Goa and Gokarna both are amazing beach destinations in India. Gokarna is comparatively less crowded than Goa, as a lot of people still do not know of this amazing place. If one is looking for a lesser crowd, then Gokarna is a great place to visit. *I have a small suggestion for you,i Just checked online and found that there are some great deals for Gokarna available at tripoto itself, do check out this link https://www.tripoto.com/gokarna/tour-packages HAPPY TRAVELLING 💕

There is/are 3 direct trains from Goa to Gokarna. These trains is/are Matsyagandha Exp (12619) and Maru Sagar Exp (12978) . The minimum time a train takes to reach Gokarna from Goa is 1h 20m. The cheapest way to reach Gokarna from Goa takes you 1h 20m, which is to take Matsyagandha Exp from Goa to Gokarna. By Bus While traveling from Go, one can board a local bus from Madgaon or Canacona to Karwar and then board another bus to Gokarna. The frequency of buses on this route is good.

Not sure about direct buses, but you can break down the journey. Take bus from margao/canacona to karwar/ankola from there take another bus to gokarna. And another thing, I have heard of a ferry service to karwar/gokarna from rajbagh Beach in South goa. So check that out to.

Yes. you can either take a train which will leave you done half an hour away from Gokarna boarding from Goa. over can get taxis to reach Gokarna from there. But a more adventurous way is to take a two wheeler ride to nearest busy but stand from outside mudgaon railway station. Board the local bus that takes nearly three hours to reach Gokarna and it is a lovely stretch as the bus goes on a road that runs almost parallel to the sea providing great views along with the glimpses of Karnataka rural life. The buses, local, do not charge much but more importantly, give you a first hand experience of they local culture and people of Karnataka and their culture cruising through the seaside road.. make sure that you reach before it is dark else it becomes difficult to get s room but maybe they first night you can stay in Gokarna itself before venturing to the famous beaches and the hotels located alongside. Z best of luck and I really wish you a great time doing this trip.
