Depends upon how much timw you have. We did a crazy drive from Mumbai to Goa, stayed for few days and than to Karnataka coast, Hampi and back to Mumbai 😊

From Pune to Hubballi take a train or bus as plenty of them are available. From Hubballi Terminus/ Junction change train or bus to Hospet. From Hospet, Hampi is very much near which you can cover by local bus or autorickshaw. This is the cheapest way and by 13-14 hours you can reach. By flight you can either fly to Hyderabad or Bengaluru, from there catch a flight to Jindal Vidyanagar which is nearest airport to Hampi. Trujet is having scheduled flights daily from these two locations. From airport to Hampi, you can hire a taxi at reasonable price.

Bus is the best transport medium from Pune to hospet. You can easily get multiple options on redbus. From hospet you can take an auto to Hampi. Its hardly 30 mins drive.
