Mysore can be covered comfortably in two days from Bangalore. You will get direct buses from Bangalore to Mysore.

You can definitely visit Coorg ( if you are keen on hill stations and calm weather) Hampi is another lovely land ( the land of the ruins) - an architect and archaeological marvel I will be posting my Hampi experience soon... keep watching :)
