I did this trek on 24 December 2017. We were a group of 14 people. We started at around 3 in the afternoon. During this period of time, 30% of the route is covered with hard slippery ice. If u don't have trekking shoes than that would be very difficult and sometimes scary and I mean what I say. So Trekking gear plays an important role here.

UpvoteCommentYes it cane done in 3 days fron Delhi. Day 1: Start from Delhi early morning and reach Bhuntar. Then Bhuntar to Kasol. Spend one night in nearby Chalal village. Day2 : Start early from Kasol. Stop for Manikaran Gurudwara fro 30 mintutes. Then go to Barsheini. From Barsheini you have to hike to Kalga then to Kheerganga. Spend the 2nd night at the top in camps Day3: Return back to Barsheini and sit in your car for the return journey. Happy travelling!!!!
Can this trek be done in 3 days starting from delhi?
Hey Priyanka, Kheerganga is one of the best trek for beginners and has its own charm in all seasons. You will be finding snow there now, which might make the trek a bit tough but it is surely gonna be worth it. Please notice that two ways split from Barshaini (Starting Point it the trek) one goes via Tosh and the other one is through the woods. I will suggest you to take the later one as that is more scenic and road less taken. You will find some (not plentiful) eating points enroute and the mobile network won’t be available there. P.S- You won’t find Rum or any alcohol up there as they don’t keep it being Lord Shiva’s place (as told by our host). Must go there! Keep Travelling!
