Hi Kumar, As suggested by Sikkim Tourism, the best time to visit Sikkim is either between March and May or October and mid-December. If you want to witness the blooming natural beauty in Gangtok best season to visit would be in spring, from March to May. Autumn, on the other hand, brings the clear view of Himalayan Range.

Dec_jan is best to visit sikkim ,there are 4disticts, north sikkim,South,West,east.the #gangtok_ need one day full sideseeings,ropeways,viewpoints,gardens,etc..,

Hi, Welcome to Sikkim. For snowy trip best time is mid March to April first half. For 5 nights you can try Gangtok and North Sikkim.
Day 1- Reach Gangtok and half day sightseeing Day 2- Day trip to Tsomgo lake, Baba Mandir, Nathula Pass ( Indo- China Border). Night Stay at Gangtok.
Day 3- Gangtok to Lachen . Night stay at Lachen.
Day 4- At early morning Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake. and after lunch transfer to Lachung. Night stay at Lachung Day 5- At morning Lachung to Yumthang Valley, Zero Point. and after lunch come back to Gangtok Budget: Budget depends on what type of package you are taking. Private as well as share all are available for Lachung, Lachen and Nathula Day tour. And secondly it depends on when you are coming. There are huge difference between Off season rates and Peak season rates

From October to April is the best time to visit... budget for two pax can be approx 60k including flight.. it might increase during November december and january as it's season time- approx- 70k to 75k for 2 pax including flight

If you want to travel sikkam you should visit in November or December. it will be best time and less crowd during these days. prices will affordable for hotels and foods. there is no railway system in sikkam. you can reach there by road only. therefore to travel sikkam you have to reach at new jalpaiguri ( silliguri) by train. from there you can take car or bike on rent to visit sikkam. you should remember one thing that there is no public transportation in sikkam. therefore u have to rent car for whole trip. it will be too much costly for 2 people. so you should take bike on rent to visit sikkam from new jalpiguri (silliguri). there are many agencies who are giving bike on rent. you can find there contact number by Google
