For your first solo trip you can try either the triund trek or kasol-kheerganga trek in Himachal Pradesh. Both these treks are easy and perfect for first timers.

Domestic...
A lot will on your preferences: beaches, mountains, city life, history, India, international, near your hometown. I would though highly recommend Rajashtan - Jaipur, Udaipur, Pushkar I would also suggest you to stay in hostels if you also want to meet new people and have an added experience to your travels! Once you identify your preferences, the community will be able to help you better :)

If you're finding peace, away from the chaos of metro life, where you can breathe properly. I have a few tips for you. Because I have traveled a lot. I do love both Mountains and Ocean. But still, if you're concerned about peace, mountains are better. Shillong, Meghalaya The mountains, cold breezes, the curvy roads are mesmerizing here. Leh-Srinagar Highway Road trips are fun with friends, but it's something else when you decide to take one alone. The highway from Leh to Srinagar is full of scenic beauty and will give you the much-needed thrill. It is a perfect escapade for all the backpackers who want to travel to a quiet place and spend some time alone. Ziro Valley Ziro Valley is the heartland of every solo traveler. The place is serene and beautiful and will leave you alone with just your thoughts for company. The stunning natural beauty is like nectar for the soul. You will discover a little about yourself in every hue of Ziro Valley. Gomukh The rigorous journey through the treks of Gomukh motivates you to keep going on your own. You don't need anyone but yourself to fall in love with the beauty of this exotic place. Brace the mountain air along with the bustling river and experience the best of traveling alone. Leave everyone behind and indulge in the serene sights. Tawang Monastery Looking for inner peace? There is nothing to plan. Just pack your bags and visit Tawang on your own. You don't need anyone to accompany you because here you will rediscover yourself. Retrospect and meditate in the monastery surrounded by snow-capped mountains and tranquil streams and lakes. Good Luck!!!

Thank you for your suggestions....these are some wonderful places and I hope to visit all of them pretty soon
You should go to Kasol, Spiti, Manali, Shimla or Nainital. I think if it's your first solo trip, then you should always go to a crowded place like Shimla or Manali or something like that. As you can easily get guidance there.

I have been to all these places actually...
If you are travelling solo for the first time, it will be better if you go to any place close to nature
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
As you are going for the first time. It's recommend to start with a place near to your place of living. You will get a good experience later you can plan further

Shuvam as I can see you are from Hyderabad. So for solo trip you can go Hampi or Papikondalu. You can get the Itinerary of both places by visiting my profile. Do let me know if you need any more details.

I just went through the itinerary on your profile and it was quite impressive....Hope to visit their soon ... Thanks for the suggestion :)
It doesn't matter where you go. What matters is, you go and learn from your experience and go again and again to tell people the exact same thing that I'm telling you right now. P.S. Before my first solo trip I went solo to a pub :p P.P.S. This blog might help you: https://www.gonimad.com/blog/orchestrate-your-solo-travel
