I am planning Leh trip, would like my itinerary to be Srinagar > Drass > Kargil > Leh > Nubra Valley > Pangong Lake and then fly back from Leh to Del. Please help do I need to be staying at all these places or I can book accommodation in Leh only ?

Hi Aditi, you will have to spend a night in Srinagar and Kargil each. If you arrive in Srinagar early morning then you might be able to find transportation to Kargil. You can visit Pangong and Nubra on day trips from Leh. The travel time (both ways) to both places is close to 11 hours. If you don't want to travel for so long in a single day then I recommend you stay in Nubra Valley and around Pangong for a night each. Staying at these places will surely add to your experience.

Hey Aditi , From Srinagar to Leh book your hotels ... The journey ahead Leh have a lot of uncertainties and moreover there are a lot of camp stays in Nubra and Pangong . If you are lucky(water level is favourable for crossing across shyok river) you can go from Nubra to Pangong or vice versa directly too ... have a great trip
