Hi ,I am travel every year to badrinath
the right time for kedarnath is June and September are the best months. and rishikesh to kedarnath taxi rent is 1500-2000 per person

Best time is September. as rains are generally subdued and the peak season rush is not there. everything is easily available.u can either start from Delhi or Haridwar. bus starts from Haridwar early morning 4-5 and reaches sonprayag in evening. u can stay there or go to gaurikund d same evening. and start your journey by foot or as per your wish to kedarnath next day early morning...Hotels are available all d time.

Weather is bad in kedarnath now its not good to take your parents there in this weather. Please try to go in june or july next year.

Hey best time to visit kedarnath and badrinath is one or two weeks before deepavali...There wont be any rush or crowd so you can visit temple peacefully and at that time you will even get cheap rooms in kedarnath and badrinath

The door to Kedarnath generally opens in the month of May, as that's when the snow starts melting and the routes become clearer for the pilgrims. May and June are good months to visit Kedarnath. In the months of July and August, the weather can turn harsh due to constant rains, so it's better to avoid visiting Kedarnath before the rain stops. October is also a good month for visiting Kedarnath, as the weather starts turning cold, and you can enjoy off-season perks. If your family doesn't enjoy cold weather, then the months of May and June are perfect for a comfortable visit. Hiring a cab or driving a private car from your location is the most comfortable way of undertaking this strenuous journey. You can take the first stop at Sonprayag. There, you can find plenty of budget hotels. From Sonprayag, you have to start your trek to Kedarnath. You can also take a taxi to Gaurikund and start trekking from that point. Helicopter service is also available for reaching Kedarnath. You can either trek to Kedarnath and come back to Gaurikund or Sonprayag; or you can choose to spend an entire night on Kedarnath. Hi, Kedarnath is cold for the most part of the year, however, May to June and September to October are the best time to visit Kedarnath.
