The nearest large station/airport is Bhopal. From here you can take cab/bus to Pachmarhi. Local sightseeing will take 1-2 days depending on how many spots you want to visit-caves, waterfalls, view points.

Hi, from Bhopal , it's about 250 KM. 1) at pachmarhi, book only MP tourism hotels, as they are really very good. 2) don't book any pvt hotels. 3) book in advance for MP tourism hotels. 4) hotel karni kar, devdaru bungalow, Glen view etc are some of the best one. 5) Keep cash with you, as only 3 ATMs are there in pachmarhi and mostly without cash. 6) keep a day or 2 day for sight seeing. 7) dhoop garh, bada mahadev ji, jata shankar , reech garh, bee fall..etc are the main attraction. 8) gypsy have to book an dubey take app.1200 -1500. 9) entire route from bhopal to pachmarhi is very good. hope the above points will work out.

Hi Anshul, the nearest airport to Pachmari is Bhopal (230km) and the nearest train station is Pipariya (50km). Plan to spend at least three days to cover major attractions like Rajat Prapat, Pandav Caves, Apsara Vihar, Jata Shankar among others. You can book Pachmarhi hotels here - https://www.tripoto.com/travel-guide/pachmarhi/hotels

Pachmarhi is one of the best hill stations in the central India and known for its epic landscape and stunning waterfalls. If you are traveling with family then avoid staying in some cheap lodges and hotels in Pachmarhi for safety reasons. They are in abundance in there and you might get a room for as low as Rs.400/per day. Traveling in Pachmarhi is one the toughest task. Since it is a hilly area therefore only professional drives are allowed to drive their four wheelers in the slippery and congested roads in the mountains. You can only travel in Pachmarhi in a Government approved 4/4 Maruti Gypsy. Apart from this taking your own personal vehicle (doesn’t matter if it is a SUV) in some areas is strictly prohibited because it requires some specific driving skills to travel some dangerous places. Most of the hotels in Pachmarahi can arrange for your road trip with in the town and you could share a gypsy or hire the entire gypsy as per your requirement. The average charges for hiring an entire gypsy for the whole day is around 1000-1500 INR per day. You could get the decent accommodation in Pachmarhi for around 2500 INR per day and rest you can spend on your food and shopping etc. Some of the places to look in Pachmarhi are: Rajat Prapat (large waterfall) Bee Fall Dhoot Akhilesh Bada Mahadev Gupt Mahadev Chauragarh (Shiv devotees come here in huge numbers during Mahashivratri) Dhupgarh (the highest peak of the Satpuras and Madhya Pradesh) Handi Khoh (deep valley) Apsara Falls (fairy pool) Jatashankar (stalagmite-filled cave in a deep ravine) Duchess Fall Pachmarhi Hill (whole view of Pachmarhi City) Pansy Pool Waters Meet Picadilly Circus Patharchatta Crumps Crag Lady Robertson's View Colletin Crag Mount Rosa Handi Kho Reechgarh Rajendra Giri (beautiful gardens with natural scenery) Bansri Bihar Little Fall Naagdwari Draupadi Kund Mid Point of India Happy journey and enjoy
