Hi Suman, the best time to visit Sikkim is either between March and May or October and mid-December. You can decide between North Sikkim or West Sikkim. The Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary and Kanchandzonga National Park in North Sikkim house some of the rarest species of flora and fauna. Chungthang, Singiek, KabiLungtsok and Yumthanga are other sites to visit in North Sikkim. Pelling, Yuksong and Rabdentse ruins are places in West Sikkim that have been gaining prominence. Yuksong is fast becoming an urban settlement owing to the influx of the tourists from various parts of the world. You can also refer to Tripoto's Sikkim travel guide: http://tripoto.com/travel-guide/sikkim. It has 5 to 10 days itineraries. Also refer to the attached article to get a better idea of Sikkim.

Sikkim During in winter - From October till March Winter is the best season to visit Sikkim, if you love snow. Snowfall at Yumthang valley, Gangtok, Pelling and Lachung make it appear heavenly. Temperature in this season stays between -5 degrees Celsius to 7 degrees.
