You can visit Alappuzha Backwaters, which is a must visit place.To enjoy the backwaters you must also visit Kumarakom. The hills of Munnar, enjoy the colonial era feel and the tea gardens. For the beaches you can visit the Kovalam beach in Trivandrum. There are many other places that you can visit. For wildlife sanctuaries you can go to Wayanad and Thekkady. Also to enjoy the city life go to Kochi and Calicut, visit Fort Kochi and Lulu Mall, which is India's 2nd largest mall. Have the biryani at Paragon, which is a famous restaurant in Calicut. It is the best ever.

Hi Anshul, Kerala is a big state with lots of good places to visit. To name a few, Wayanad, Munnar, Varkala and others. I would suggest to include Munnar if possible, because this is the Neelakurinji blooming season in Munnar. This rare purplish-blue flower blooms only once in 12 years and covers the lush hills of Munnar. Eravikulam National Park and Anamudi Peak are some places worth visiting.

Idukki, Aleppy, Cochin, Kozhikode,Waynad. Best places for exploring. Cochin would be a harbour city kind of vibe and the rest are more inclined towards nature.

There are a lot of places to visit in Kerala. How many days are you planning to spend there? Depending on that you can plan your destinations.
To name a few, you can visit to Alleppey (rent a shikara boat, canoe boat or houseboat in the backwaters there), Varkala, Marari beach, Fort Kochi, Idukki, Munnar, Kovalam, Kumarakom, Trivandrum etc.

Kerela is such a beautiful place and a place definitely meant for nature lovers..... you can go to munnar where you will find tea gardens,adventure park....also thekkedy and alleppey are indeed good places to visit.....In cochi you can go to lu lu mall which is such a huge ome to visit...

Do not miss the opportunity to invest in a good hotel at kerala. kerala caters all types of budget travellers so even at 4000 INR you get a good resort and so and it has one of the best price wise hotels in India. Do visit Munnar and experience the lovely houseboat experience for a day or if in hurry atleast half day, it takes you around meandering rivers and little villages and gives you insight about their way of living on day to day basis.
I have always visited Kochi when at kerala, its 2-3 hours journey only and kochi has so much to offer from beaches to churches to old jewish synagogues and varied cuisines too. So plan accordingly so that you can add Kochi here with this trip.
