May end to June end is generally wet season in Gangtok. But you can definitely enjoy the beauty. Carry woollen as temperature dips during night and also when going to Nathula pass ( Indo-china border) and Tsongmo lake. MG road in great place to handout. Clouds hover very low in the MG road walking street every evening. Romantic walks can be taken in MG Road with mouth smacking food available throughout the stretch.
