If you are going in tge ending of next month then no issue... but current situation in Himachal not good.

Currently,the situation is like that but still Shimla is quite safe. You can take Toy train from kalka(approx 5hr from Delhi). This route is so beautiful and is currently operational too even after this much rain. Till 30sept, everything will be normal. No need to worry.
