Day 1- Local sightseeing including Rumtek Monastery, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Do Drul Chorten, Flower Exhibition Centre, Sikkim Himalayan Zoological Park, Lhasa Falls, Ban Jhakri Falls Park, Bakthang Waterfall, Nam Nam view point, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Seven Sister Waterfall, Ropeway, Ranka Monastery,etc. Note: Don't forgetto apply for Nathula, Changu, Baba mandir Permit on day 1. Day 2 - Go for Nathula Pass, Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandi, Tsongo Lake Day 3 - If you love travelling then you can go ahead for a picturesque hillstation Ravangla which is 3 hrs drive from Gangtok. You can also stay overnight in Ravangla. Else, you can divide day 1 into two halves and enjoy your travel. Day 4 - Explore each and every corner of MG Marg its just amazing.
You can cover entire Gangtok in one day. there are taxis which you can hire for a day and they will take you to 7-8 tourist places on the same day. For the other three days, you can go to indo-china border. It has the best route i have seen so far in my life. Worth going. If you have 2 full fledged days, hire a cab and travel towards north sikkim. On the mall road there are alot of agencies who can guide you. And taxis are pretty much affordable.
Gangtok Full – day Sightseeing
After breakfast city tour of Gangtok. Full day sightseeing which includes Hanuman Talk, Ganesh Talk & Tashi View Point, Later visit Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday & govt. Holidays), Do-Drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays), Flower Show.Overnight stay in Gangtok. Tshangu Lake We have only get the permit till Tshangu Lake otherwise Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass is also covered on the same day. NATHULA PASS : (Indo- China border) is always kept as optional tour as maximum time the roads get closed due to bad weather or road blockage. If you like to visit Natula pass and permit has been given it will cost you additional 3,500 - 4000 (Approx.) to for up to 6 Adults ***** * Nathula Pass is closed on Monday & Tuesday so plan your itinerary accordingly.
