Last year mid june I was in Leh. The weather will b chilled in Leh. But the temp goes down in Nubra valley and Pangog region. Carry 2 3 winter wear. And don't miss Tso Moriri from your itinerary. Less crowded and Most beautiful place in Leh.

Hi Anindita, The temperature of Leh in mid June is quiet pleasant.June is when the temperatures soar up to 21°C (day).(The best soothing winter) You still can't do without a blanket at night when it's 7°C. See it totally depend that for how long you are visiting but for most important keep a tight airless jacket and boot shoes which is must and this is when tourism is at its peak and Ladakh is buzzing with visitors,

Hi in June also, you need to carry winter wear. there are few places where you need to wear them especially at Pangong lake and nubra velly (after evening). i went to leh in first week of july (last year) and packed mixed clothes i.e. few summer items and few winter one.

During the month of early June all the street courses to Leh open up and one can go to Leh city on the Srinagar-Leh-Manali Circuit. June is one of the best time of the year to visit Leh by bike or road. If you wish to enjoy the snowy roads and mountains en route this is the best time to go for a holiday in Leh Ladakh. By mid-June, the snow begins dissolving so you will head out to some of the most beautiful lakes in Ladakh. Visit some of the monasteries and the stupas here and also get acquainted with the local people. And the best of all you can enjoy the Saka Dawa, Yuru Kabgyat, Hemis Festivals which are held in this month. If you are visiting by road then reach Ladakh through Kargil from Kashmir Valley, which is around 434 km. This route remains open from early June to November. 473 km long Manali-Leh road is open from mid-June to early October.
