If its your first solo trip then its better to go for Simla. Its a bit populated. So u wont find any difficulty if u r stranded somewhere

I have been to Shimla. It's not my first trip... it's first "SOLO TRIP". But I'm going Manali for first time
My first solo trip was to Manali only and it turned out to be one of the greatest experiences of my life and I am sure the same is gonna happen for you, don't think too much, you might have difficulties but everything will fall into places and at the end you will thank yourself that you took this step...and yes do not forget to visit Jognifalls and the Sagu waterfall.

Do not worry.. solo trip is the best thing that happens to you. telling you outta experience.. solo trip tells you everything about yourself. you find a new you with your journey and mountains always help you wrap up so many fears and blockages you faced all your life. I am not in manali, but in an unexplored part of kullu that comes 100 kms before manali close to tirthan valley. own a cafe and Homestay there. solo traveler, solo enterprenuer.. I would love to help and guide you through your trip around the mountains and trust your instincts.. it's gonna be an amazing one.. 🙏😊
