Yes it will be open but it will also be very cold their and you can also witness snowfall. Do carry a lot of warm clothes and book your tents in advance. Taking the hot water spring will be very adventurous at that time. Go ahead
Hey Avik, Kheerganga is one of the best trek for beginners and has its own charm in all seasons. You will be finding snow there now, which might make the trek a bit tough but it is surely gonna be worth it. Please notice that two ways split from Barshaini (Starting Point it the trek) one goes via Tosh and the other one is through the woods. I will suggest you to take the later one as that is more scenic and road less taken. You will find some (not plentiful) eating points enroute and the mobile network won’t be available there. P.S- You won’t find Rum or any alcohol up there as they don’t keep it being Lord Shiva’s place (as told by our host). Must go there! Keep Travelling!
Hello, i was in Kasol 2 years ago during New year however, it is very very very crowded & can not enjoy new year as much you want. I would suggest to avoid Kasol during this peak time, else it is a lovely place to visit any other time.
Hello!
kheerganga is easy to trek open throughout the year. just take a short note in winters the shops and campsites are not very functional so carry your food and good warm clothes to be on a safer side.the trial is very beautiful and one experience few waterfalls during summers but in winters trial is like a carpet of snow.very beautiful. In addition I'll add if you have time visit RASOL as well it is a smal hike from chalal.the view there is also fabulous.have a great trip!
