Please visit Kalady, near Kochi. A very nice place! Birth place of Sri Adi Shankaracharya. Also, if you go via Wayanad, then it's a treat for you and become a cherry on the cake!

Munnar hil station is wide and deep. There are many places to cover. Kolukkumalai morning safari, chakromudi trek, top station, mathupatty dam, rajmala sanctuary etc are some good places to visit. There are many good waterfalls around too. I stayed at bamboo Dale in bison valley.

March marks the beginning of summer in Munnar. The weather remains pleasant and temperatures range between 19 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius. Summer in Munnar is a perfect time to enjoy sightseeing and visiting tea estates and the Tata Tea Museum. Carry light cottons, though also carry an umbrella as rain showers are common during the summer months.
