The best things to experience in Rajasthan are forts and resorts( specifically heritage resorts). I have visited Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Kumbhalgarh and Ranthambore. All the places are awesome.. yet to explore more there.

I have recently visited rajasthan with my family and have found the place amazing. the people there are cheerful as well as very helpful. we had covered Jaipur, chittaurgarh, udaipur, mount Abu, Jaisalmer in 10 days. there are plenty of things so see in Rajasthan. you can also include jodhpur in your way between mount Abu to Jaisalmer. as for your stay, there are various budget hotels as well as hostels in various places. can check the oyo rooms and Trivago for more information.

Hello Lalitha. Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer would be good places to explore. Also you can book your stay in Zostel. That would be a great place to meet like minded fellow travellers and also cheaper and comfortable for a solo traveller. I did the same when I visited these places in Feb'19.

Hey Lalitha, from October to January is the best time to explore rajasthan. You can attend many festivals as per your choice. Desert festival is one of the famous festivals. I have attended Jaisalmer winter festival, it was a great fun. You can do day or night desert safari also camping in desert. have a fun 👍
