The time is great indeed!! Hotels might get expensive as many tend to visit at this time so try booking a hotel prehand, hostel if you are okay with bunk beds.
Try to choose a hotel near by to avoid renting a scooty or take a taxi everyday!! Morning walks on beach be best as everyone be sleeping in their hangover while you can enjoy the most of it by yourself! Try exploring vivid market places and cool cafes for afternoon and spend morning to noon in watersports
Evening can be spent at a restro bar with live music, this generally is kinda best of the vacation plan!

Visit North Goa if you are interested in tourist place like Churches, busy beaches, markets and mostly pubs and clubs.
If you're looking for a peaceful stay, having a relaxing trip, south Goa beaches would surely please you.

Look you would already be knowing commercial places in Goa. But if you are thinking of exploring more then you can go to Mapusa, Palolem, Panji, Chapora, Agoda, Anjuna, Arambol, Vagator, Ashvem, etc.

Goa needs some good planning if you on a budget, as hotels and other stuff gets expensive now. there are many places if you are first timer visit all prominent beaches and churches. 3 to 4 days enough. rent a scooter around 400 per day approx. food is bit on expensive side on shacks but plenty of option at Baga , calangute , candolim , anjuna and more.

There's a secluded waterfall named 'Harvalem falls'. You should definately visit it. The roads to the famous Dudhsagar waterfall are closed many a times but I can assure you that Harvalem falls won't disappoint you.

See there is North Goa, Panjim and south Goa.
1. north Goa
its the party hub. lots of nice beaches are there along with great pubs, discos, caffes, restaurants and great shopping places. And it is crowded. You can try Water activities also. some of the famous beaches are Baga, Calangute, Anjuna. best night clubs are Tittos club or club cubbana. Ashwem beach is also there in the north, its a bit far but beautiful. 2. South goa
the beaches are serene here, very clean and less crowd. if you want to chill with a bear and a book south Goa is best. many beaches are there but my favourite is varca and palolem. 3. panjim
