You can look for budget options in Meena Bazaar area of Bur Dubai. We stayed at Dolphin Hotel Apartments - decent property.

Ascot Hotel is in Al Fahidi which is just 2500-3000 only which is highly recommend in that area. This area is close to Burdubai which is shopping center for whole UAE & food is amazing in this area which is also cheapest compare to all other places in Dubai Metro stations Alfahidi & AlGubabia are just 7-8 mins walk. Bus stop is just a step out side to hotel. There is Royal Ascot Hotel which is 5 star hotel but Ascot hotel is budget one with good facilities In this Hotel food is expensive but u can find a lot hotels near by
