I received 42 credits for my first post on tripoto , what does it mean 42 credits = 42 rs or something else ?

You can use credits to redeem trips from the get paid to travel section... minimum trip credits right now are 300.. you can check any of those and that will give you some idea

Its not just like 42 rs .Here are some discounted trips available in "Get Paid to Travel" Section so you can use those credits and redeem against some trips and will get the great deals. Currently min 300 credits required to redeem one trip.

No relation to credits and rupees. Here credits acquire you packages. Minimum starts around 300 to 400 credits

It means that you can use these credits in place of trips offered by tripoto in exchange of credits.

It means credits only...u can save credits and use later for redemption for any travel packages offered by tripoto at discounts or free

Almost 300 credits is needed to get some discount of free trips. So keep writing posts soon you will be getting free trips. Best of Luck
