It's better to go without any package, try to go to dharamkot which is above dharamshala and mcleodganj . the rooms are affordable easily available for 300 - 400

McLeodganj in April will be awesome . No need for a package tour. You can plan on your own You will easily get bus/ cab upto Dharamshala. From there McLeodganj is less than 10 km. Also book your hotel on Booking.com

You can book rooms on zostel if you're going solo and simply explore the area in your own. Dharamkot, Triund Trek and the legendary shiva cafe are a must.

Package is not reqd , you can plan your own itinerary. I had done solo from McLeod & Bir on Nov. Direct bus available from Delhi to McLeod or Dharamshala.

Why you need package when you can plan it on your own. It will be a hell lot fun and cheaper than the package. I went there alone and recommended my friend. She also went there alone.

Just search mcleod ganj in tripoto for trips done by other and plan yourslef the trip no need fo package. also ook ur hotels thru trivago, airbnb or booking.com. reach dharamshala its very near by from there.
