May- June is perfect time to visit Valley of flowers due to one dimple reason. In May and June, all varieties of flowers which are found there blossoms. so will experience this serene panorama of colorful valley in front of your eyes and it will damn sure gonna leave you SPELLBOUND!!!. Cause nobody can define how valley of flowers look when its on its Prime. Be Safe and Enjoy!!!

From the 18th of this month (May), the path will get open. Though it is not recommended to start climbing just upon the the path opening because it is not a very safe option. Try going there in the last week of May that too on the weekdays (Airfare is on the cheaper side, plus there is less rush). I am pretty sure that you'd also visit Hemkund Sahib Gurdwara, if not, please visit that beautiful place.

I am from Uttarakhand so I can suggest you that the best time for this place is from mid July to mid August as during this period Himalayan flowers bloom in thousands and at their peak. When the rain stops the atmosphere look magically crystal clear and so beautiful that it mesmerizes everyone. The trek route is awesome. Hemkund Sahib near Valley of Flowers also gives a heavenly feel. Though it is rainy season, so you need to take more precautions, but it is the only best time to visit this place. Nowadays (May 2019) in Uttarakhand work on all weather road is going on, and it is about to be finished. Roads will be more wide and smooth after this project. So, before moving to this destination, you must confirm the status of Roads to there too. This area gets covered with snow in winters in most of time. It must be noted that Monsoon season is 'tourist season' in Uttarakhand in spite of heavy rain and possibility of land slides.

I have been to Joshimath in 12 th May which is the nearest destination to reach Auli and valley of flowers. Valley of flowers trek is not opened yet. Our Guide suggest us to visit in the month of July and August.

The Valley of Flowers is only open from month of June until the beginning of October, as it's covered in snow the rest of the year. The best time to visit is from mid July to mid August, when the flowers are in full bloom after the first monsoon rain.
