Thailand has been beautiful in more ways than one...I have visited the land 2 times to different places.
Pattaya and Bangkok are the places many tourist visit and is crowded... I am generally fine with tourists but if u like a more quite trip with good places to visit..... U should checkout phuket, Krabi, koh Phi Phi, koh pangan..
Budget entirely depends on you..There are fantastic hostels at more cheaper rates and there are beautiful and luxurious resorts...
There are buses and tuk tuk available if u want to visit popular destinations.... And then you can book private taxis as well which are expensive of course.. Activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, beach hopping, club hopping, sky diving, temple visits and many more for your choice... I would advise you to book the additional day tours in Thailand itself as there are many tourist planning hubs around every city.... Additionally do checkout apps like " klook" and " get your guide " for the same... And visa is free till next year April 2020 I think... Hope it helps...
Keep traveling.. Cheers
