Hello Sonam,
I would suggest to travel to shillong instead Nagaland (however nagaland has a nice trek name Dzoku valley), from shillong you can also go to Cheerapunji and dawki through scooty - this would be a wonderful road journey and undoubtedly cheerapunji and dawki both are very beautiful.
Must visit Nongriat. Iam soon posting my blog on northeast

Go for shillong..but if you want to experience the culture visit Nagaland during first week of December to experience Hornbill fest. I'm sure you'll love it and you can also go for trekking in Dzukou Valley

Try Kaziranga, Stay in Home stay near Kaziranga east gate in front of a Tea estate on a Machan kind of room.. can give u details of home stay in Kaziranga
. or Meghalaya - Shillong, Dowki, Mawlynnong, Cherrapunji,.. u can stay in huts in Mawlynnong
