Head straight to Varanasi for 3 days. If you have time in hand visit Mathura, Agra, Ayodhaya and Lucknow as well.

Pushkar is a small town or rather a village which holds not only great religious importance but also hosts India’s largest Camel fair. Visit Pushkar to take part in the fair, you’ll have a memory of lifetime. Pushkar is also well known for the only Brahma temple in India and very few all around the world. While in Pushkar don’t forget to visit the lake where morning and evening prayers(arti) takes place. Pushkar is surrounded by a desert and hence a desert is a must do from Pushkar. The souvenirs from Pushkar market are typical Rajasthani styled and should be purchased if you’re ethnic decor fan

Welcome to North India part. I hope you had a great journey traveling from Kerala to Punjab. So this is the best time to go at Varanasi or Benaras if you want to experience the amazing colourful holi with local people and travelers from different parts of the world. And after that you can look for going to Lucknow i.e. the capital city and then Allahabad and other cities of Uttar Pradesh. Wish you a safe and happy journey. Happy Holi in advance.
