If you are planning to leave the airport at Kuala Lumpur then you will need a Multiple entry visa, entri visa won’t suffice If you don’t wish to leave the airport then you don’t need any visa

I just followed the same route and took Multiple entry e visa. Checked with authorities, they said entri visa would not work. For details, you may watch these videos for travel to Malaysia.
