Bangalore is pretty far from the location but transportation can be taken from their too.

The nearest location to Agumbe are Udupi and Mangalore from there you can find adequate transportation for the same.

Hey, It's totally safe. Just don't wander deep into the forest cause it's a conservation area for the famed King Cobra. Otherwise it's a beautiful place.
