Hello Akash, Uttarakhand is a well-commercialised state with fine roads. You can easily travel to Uttarakhand by car, whether personal or on hire. Also, if you are planning to self-drive, make sure you're a very good driver for hilly roads. Choose a car with a powerful engine. Prefer using Diesel ones and any hatch car will make your trip easier. Do not overload the passengers while taking your car to Uttarakhand because of the hilly terrain. Yes, i was staying in Delhi for the past three years and Uttarakhand was the one-call-drive-getaway for us five friends. Though the roads can be a bit unpleasant but its worth it.
