Till October the trek route is open. Nights are cold days are cool though not chill, so you have to carry enough warm clothes. The most preferred route is from Chamba till Hudsar there is jeep facility. From Hudsar you have to trek via
Gaurikhand to the lake and return back the same route. It takes 4 days to visit and come back.
