Please be careful while taking young child to high altitudes. Leh is 3500 metres above sea level, and lot of places are even higher than this. checkout below link : http://www.traveldoctor.co.uk/altitude.htm

Hello KV Shah. Yes, you could take your kid. It shouldn't be a problem. Kids acclimatise faster than adults do :) Just be careful with the little ones clothing. And rest in Leh for 2 days (so that everyone is acclimatised), before heading to higher altitudes like Khardungla or Pangong.

Yes u can.. but it will be better if u avoid directly flying to leh.. u can take the leh manali highway or leh srinagar highway.. it will help in acclimatization...

I had an amazing time in Ladakh and would recommend everyone to visit Ladakh once in a lifetime. But, it's quiet unsafe to travel high altitude regions with your children. You can straightaway go by the flights but stay in Leh city for atleast 2 days so that your body can acclimatize according to the environment.

Yes but have to take a medical checkup of the child first and have to take an oxygen cylinder with you.

I would say no! Wait another year until your kid turns 5!

No, because their bodies will not match up as yours. Weather conditions are very challenging for Small babies.
