Hi Vijay, We all know Travelling Solo is amazing but only when we read the stories.
Manali to Leh is a tough terrain, especially on a two wheeler. Weather being Uncertain, I would advise you to carry a Windcheater and Raincoat and have necessary safety equipments. Regards !
Hi Vijay, Myself Harshal I recently completed my solo road trip from srinagar to manali.
Firstly I would like to tell that thier are many bikers and if you get any trouble then you can get help from any of them they will help you. Another thing is that try to get basic knowledge of bike if you travelling from bike like how to change clutch, brake, accelator cable or cleaning of airfilter this are the basic issue which take place during the trip. Also for stay I suggest don't make pre-booking bcoz you will get many cheap stays every where and you can stay thier. Still if you have any other querry text me any time. Regards,
Harshal
I completed a solo trip to Leh from Manali and back to Manali by hitchhiking. There is no problem while traveling solo. Which is your mode of transportation? I hitchhiked from Manàli to Darcha by bike on day 1. 2nd day, Darcha to Pang by Truck. 3rd day Pang to Leh by car. If you are traveling alone you can stay on tent, it costs on 150 for a bed space. Use Diamox tablets to avoid AMS
Solo trip to ladakh are not recommended. You should have some companion in case of emergency as its not easy to get acclimatize with weather in Leh and Laddakh.
