ITINERARY: Delhi (Arrive)-Nainital(02 Nights), Ranikhet(01 Night), Almora (01 Night), Kausani(02 Nights), Corbett(01 Night) - Delhi(Drop) Duration: 08 DAYS/ 07 NIGHTS Day 01 Delhi to Nainital( 320 Kms - 9 Hours) On arrival in the Delhi airport/ railway station, proceed directly for Nainital by road. On arrival, check in to the hotel. After refreshing yourself at the hotel in Nainital, go on a sightseeing tour, beginning with boating on the famous Naini Lake (at your own cost) and visit to the holy Naina Devi Temple. After that, visit famous tourist spots like Naina Peak, SnowView and Lands End etc. In the evening, enjoy shopping at the Mall Road. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Note:- Tempo traveller or higher seating vehicle are allowed upto Nainital Parking only. For local sightseeing in Nainital guest has to take local vehicle for sightseeing from Nainital Union on direct payment basis. Day 02 Nainital - Local sightseeing After breakfast drive for lake tour of Bhimtal, Sattal, Naukuchiatal. Drive back to Hotel, Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel. Day 03 Nainital to Ranikhet( 70 Kms - 2 Hours) Morning drive to drive to Ranikhet, on arrival Ranikhet check in at the hotel, evening free for own activity. Overnight stay at the hotel. Ranikhet:-Ranikhet reflects the very best of the heavenly Himalayas, their lush green forests, majestic mountain peaks, exotic plant life and attractive wild life. To see nature and its elements in full harmony, the right place to be is Ranikhet. According to a popular belief, this spot had won the heart of Rani Padmini, queen of Raja Sudhardev. She chose this scenic place to be her abode and since then, it has come to be known as Ranikhet, literally “Queen's Field". At an altitude of 1829mtres, above sea level, the invigorating mountain breeze, the singing of birds, the panoramic view of the Himalayas - the sights, sounds and smells leave the onlooker spellbound. During the rains, flowers sprout up every where in rainbow colours, branches of tress stoop with ripened fruits and sunlight peeping through the mist and clouds, endow an enchanting effect all across Ranikhet. As winter comes, the softly falling snowflakes cover the environs in sheets of pure whiteness. Day 04 Ranikhet to Almora( 60 Kms - 1.5 Hours)Morning drive to yet another beautiful hill station of Almora. Arrive and transfer to hotel and rest of the day is at leisure to explore the unspoiled flora & fauna of this beautiful hill station. Night stay in Almora. Kausani:- Kausani Standing 1890 mts. above the sea level, Kausani is nature's own reserve. Even the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi had contemplated on the beauty of the region. Several snow- capped peaks stand in a stately row, over 300 kms. in length, shining against the azure sky making the horizon as seen from Kausani and enviable spectacle. The glory of the snow crowned Himalayan range reaches its pinnacle when the sunrays turn them into crimson and gold. Mahatma Gandhi, who spent 12 days in 1929 at Kausani, penned his memorable commentary on the Gita-Ana-Shakti Yoga inspired by the scenic grandeur of this richly gifted spot. The guest house where the Mahatma stayed is now known as the Anashakti Ashram.Hindi poet laureate Sumitra Nandon Pant was born at Kausani. Some of his early poems composed here have described nature in its myriad manifestations. Day 05 Almora to Kausani( 80 Kms - 2.5 Hours) After breakfast depart to kausani. Afternoon will visit Baijnath temple. Here you will see many ancient idols and will also come across mahashir fish in the river waters. At the end of your visit, take your time to look at the setting sun and finally the sunset. Also visit Anashakti Ashram where Mahatama Gandhi stayed for few days. It will be a memorable evening. Have dinner and rest for the night at kausani. Day 06 Kausani - Local Sightseeing After Breakfast, this morning, wake up to the wide expanse of the famous Katyur Valley to experience the Kausani sunrise. Visit the 12th century Baijnath Temple(if missed on arrival day) and Kausani tea plantation. Also visit Anashakti Ashram where Mahatama Gandhi stayed for few days. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Day 07 Kausani to Corbett( 200 Kms - 6 Hours) After Breakfast, drive to Corbett. The park was named after Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist turned author and photographer who spent most years of his life in this area and helped set up this park. On Arrival transfer to Hotel and check in. Evening free for sightseeing covering Garjia temple and Corbett fall. Dinner and overnight stay in Corbett. Day 08 Corbett to Delhi( 290 Kms - 8 Hours) After breakfast check out from hotel, drive to Delhi for onward destination.

Thanks for the itenirary. I hv one question, is it better to book a package or plan individually by booking hotels and hire a cab for sightseeing and to and fro transfer.
