There are many cheap hotels available here. *Jaipur -- Jaipur is the capital city of the state and pretty good city to visit. There are many places to visit and sightseeing. Hey why dont you start with New Delhi itself ( if a non-resident) or else start with delhi to agra. then agra to jaipur.. Jaipur to Ranthambore National Park at sawai Madhopur from there to bharatpur and finally through Gwalior return to Delhi... As you have a child with you, National Parks and Bird sanctuary will be exciting for her and part of education too.. You can refer to my posts for delhi and ranthambore and jaipur belt. Hello Govind I know being a family person you'd be looking for a all set package tour, but I'd suggest you to either hire a personal taxi or maybe drive one of your own as the roads of Rajasthan are beautiful! The must visit cities are Jaipur-Pushkar-Udaipur-MtAbu-Jodhpur-Jaisalmer. Covering these in a span of 7/8 days is quite possible or maybe you could skip one or two of these depending upon your interest :) Feel free to ask about the detailed itinerary, I know quite a bit about Rajasthan. Happy Travelling :)

Here is 8 days itinerary for Rajasthan- Day 1 since you are starting with Jaipur start as early as a possible book a cab with the local travel agencies to show you around the whole city. Day 2 depart to Pushkar and Ajmer both are religious places if you want you can visit Pushkar which has the only Lord Brahma’s temple in the world and Ajmer Sharif. In the evening depart for Jodhpur. Day 3 starts early and book a cab as you did in Jaipur to show you around the whole city. On the same day if possible try to depart for Jaisalmer you can take the Jodhpur Jaisalmer express which departs at 23:00 from Jodhpur. If you caught the train you will reach Jaisalmer by 6:00 in the morning check in a hotel. Freshen up and relax till afternoon. Start again go around the Jaisalmer city visit the fort and all. The next morning take a bus to Udaipur. Book a luxury because it is a very long distance probably it will take around 12 hours. After reaching Udaipur check in a hotel and take rest. The next morning again books a cab like you did in Jaipur and Jodhpur and they will show you all the tourist interests in Udaipur. Day 7 get a bus to Abu Road or directly to Mount Abu if you can get again this will be a very long journey about 13 hours to book a luxury bus. You will reach Abu Road by night probably so take a hotel in Abu Road itself. But if you get the bus till Mount Abu pre-book a hotel in Mount Abu. Check in the hotel and relax. Day 8 book a cab to roam around the tourist places in Mount Abu like Gurushikahr Pravat, Dilwara temples and all. Come back to the hotel and sleep. Next morning take a bus to Abu Road railway station and take the train no. 19707 Aravali express to Jaipur which will depart at 10:07 in the morning and reach by 18:55 at the Jaipur railway station or take the train no. 19031 Yoga Express which will depart at 14:50 and reach by 23:05 in the night at Jaipur railway station. Hope this helps!!
