Hey Akshata its good to hear to you are interested inn visiting rajasthan, there are many places in rajasthan which you can cover in week easily
Jaipur
Pushkar
jaisalmer
Jodhpur you can decide any three places each place two days
I will suggest u not to waste time in traveling and enjoy the places in Udaipur like lake Pichola, city palace,Jaisamand lake(2nd largest artificial lake in Aisa), Vinatge car museum and then go for jodhpur/Mount ab(not a fan of mount abu) and stay there one day and then plan for jaisalmer or jaipur or ajmer as per your convince.
Welcome,u can visit Jaisalmer fort, can enjoy desert safari and can go to pokhran(where nuclear test was held) and plz must visit to local market, the best part of cities of Rajasthan is their markets and items found in markets.
Would you like to explore Udaipur or some other place in Rajasthan? There are several places in Udaipur which are not to be missed like Jag Mandir, Jagdish Temple, Bagore ki Haveli, City Palace, Monsoon Palace and Sajjangarh Zoo. If you want to see desert and surrounding life, visit Jaiselmer, Kuldhara, Osian. Jodhpur is close to Jaiselmer where you can see Mehrangarh Fort, Ummaid Bhawan, Step well, Mandore Garden. If hillstations entice you, go to Mount Abu which you can club with your tour to Udaipur.
Hey Akshata, it is advisable to go to Jodhpur from Udaipur first, since its a shorter distance which will barely take 5 hours. Stay in Jodhpur for one night and then leave for Jaiselmer the next day. Jodhpur to Jaiselmer is also a short distance to cover which will again be 5-6 hours. I would not recommend a long journey from Udaipur to Jaiselmer.
Hi Akshata, From Udaipur, two must visit places are Kumbhalgarh and Chittor, other places that you can visit in Rajasthan are Mount Abu, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Bikaner. All of these can be done in a week.
Hey, i can see you have already received suggested places to visit. I would greatly like to tell you to experience the tent stay at Jaisalmer, they have various activities like folk dance show, camel ride with sunset view, dunes bashing, night safari as well.
Spare out not more than 2 days for Udaipur because that's more than enough to see everything worth seeing there. 1.5 days is enough for Jaipur.
Honestly, it's better to see just 2 or 3 places instead of entire Rajasthan because it's usually all forts and palaces which might get boring after one point (unless you're really into that kind of stuff). that's why don't choose more than 3 places to visit at once.
Do visit the City Palace in Udaipur and ofcourse the famous Lake Pichola and Lake Fateh Sagar. If you have time in hand you should visit the madsive Chhittorgarh Fort and Kumbalgarh Fort which are just a couple of hours away from the city but it’s a must visit when in Udaipur. You can also visit the Monsoon Palace within the city and Jagdish Temple in the middle of Lake Pichola.
Have a great Journey.
Udaipur is awesome in Jan & FEB
beside udaipur you can do Chittorgarh , Ranakpur , Haldighati and Nathdwara on day trips.
You can then head to Jodhpur .
