Not sure where you are starting from so can't give you a detailed itinerary but here are few must see places: 1. Gandikota: dubbed India's grand canyon, this place is mesmerizing if you are into vast landscapes. (1-2 days) ~300 km from Hyd. few visit-worthy underground caves nearby too. 2. Hampi: not exactly telangana but around 300 km from gandikota and a great place to relax. with receding monsoon, a good time to visit the place which sees scorching heat most of the year. (2 days) 3. Srisailam: on your way back to hyderabad, drive by or stay for a night at srisailam for amazing Octopus Viewpoint(believe me, just look up images). if you are lucky, the water gates might be open making for a great picture and a humid lens. (1 day) 4. hyderabad-vikarabad: if you are not already from hyderabad, roam around here, eat biryani and shop. vikarabad, a small hilly area also awaits, offering some adventure sports (don't have very high expectations though)
