Hi yes, there are usual places at haridwar and rishikesh. but there you can enjoy adventures sports as well, apart being visiting to the usual places. near rishikesh, there is one dham shantikunj, you can visit there

Try Rafting if you are into adventurous things and specially try to do 25km rafting. By the end of the trip you will be amazed that this was really your best decision.

Hi Saumitra, There are quite a few offbeat places you can visit.
1. Neelkanth temple - the story behind is quite awe-inspiring. It's better to rent a bike. 2. Garud Chatti waterfall near Patna village. It's enroute Neelkanth.
3. Goa beach - Although it's not unknown if you visit this beach early morning you can enjoy the serenity ( we started our day at 5am).
4. Meandering through the alleys of Rishikesh on bikes or cycles. Places to eat: Bear in mind that all the eateries serve veg once you cross La man Jhula (now you have to cross Ram Jhula since the former has shut down for god-knows-for-how-long) 1. Buddha café- located on the "veg" side it serves delicious food. This was our go to place everyday. 2. Bistro Nirvana - located on the "non-veg" side. Paradise for meat eaters. They serve the dishes with a twist. 3. Chotiwala - if you care for some chole bature and lassi. Not as good as it used to be but nevertheless remains crowded at all time. Close to Ram Jhula
4. German Bakery - whichever bakery you come across is known as German Bakery so you could keep trying. There is one beside La man Jhula which has quite a variety of patisserie. 5. Beetles cafe - thought it was overrated but it serves decent delicious meals with appropriate portions.
