Hey Varsha. I already made a plan for Kasol in same time. temperature will running on single digit figure. if weather will clean then you can go for Parvati vally, Tosh. We will reach Kasol on 29th December Morning and will leave Kasol on 31st December for Tosh, then we directly go to Manali for 2days..

Kheerganga Trek
Tosh
Parvati River
Malana
Chalal
Manikaran
You can try the isreali and western food being served in the multiple cafes at Kasol. Also German bakery is a must visit. There are lot of hostels budding in Kasol region, you should definitely try staying there, its easy on pocket and you get to interact with fellow travellers as well, you can try The hostellers and the Whoopers hostel.

Hi varsha, it would be awesome if you are planning a trip to kasol on new Year.. but should be careful about the extreme cold climate there on that time.. carry enough clothing and winter jackets.. you can stay in "the hostellor" in kasol for affordable rate with good facilities.. here I suggest you some places you can explore in kasol..
