Sai Prakash Holi had given the detail, you can try those places, apart from them you can try Hampi (Historical place as well Bear Sanctuary), Shiv ganga (For trekking), Murudeshwar Temple (Religious place)

South india has plenty of places for solo travelers such as South goa, gokarna, hampi, chikmangulur, kodaikanal, Kochi, varkala, rameshwaram, pondicherry, auroville etc.

if u like trekking places go for these kodachadri , kumara parvata , mullayyanagiri, Datta peeta. if u like site view go for these
Madikeri, Coorg, Nandu hills, Mysore , Chikmagalur, thirthhalli
