Meghalaya is one of the few states in India which harbour the best of natural beauty. Start your trip with Shillong . Cover the regular tourist attractions which are iin and around Shillong ( Cherrapunji , Dwaki , Living Root Bridge etc) and then check the below mentioned :
1. Mawlyngot -Another beauty awaiting an exploration, Mawlyngot is located at a distance of about 42 km from Shillong 2 Mawphlang- If you are in and around Shillong, then you must not miss visiting the serene hamlet of Mawphlang that harbours tranquillity. It is located at a distance of about 25 km from Shillong and is surrounded by beautiful hills, colourful farm fields, deep valleys and lush vegetation.
3 Shnongpdeng - It is located at an approximate distance of 8 km from Dawki and harbours everything that you would be looking for.

Dwaki lake , chirapunji , elephant water falls, sacred forest, nokrik trek ( amazing 4 hour trek to living double root bridge ) please don't go to cleanest village not worth for time . u can go for camping after crossing dwaki bridge

Cherrapunji , you can see the live tree double decker bridge and mawlynnong village is beautiful in shillong and mawsmai cave.
