Jal Mahal , Jantar Mantar , City Palace , Amber Fort , Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort are the places to see in jaipur.
I stayed in Umaid Bhavan which is little outside the city , away from the crowd but a very good place. If you are on a budget then There's Zostel and Many more Backpacker Hostels.
2 days are suffice to cover full Jaipur. if you're traveling from Delhi, you can reach in 4 hours and try taking hostel which is economical. take an elephant ride to Amber fort nahargarh fort
and jaigarh forts can be covered in one day palace, Hawa mahal, jal mahal
step well and local market can be covered in one day. for accommodation, check hostels like hostel which is economical and way cheaper than others. hope it helps!
There are many budget to high end hotels in Jaipur. If you stay ner the old city you will have easy access to Markets and some places of tourist interest nearby your place of stay. Must Visit Amer, Nahargarh and Jaigarh Forts, besides City Palace and Hawa Mahal. Try Chokhi Dhani also.
