Hi Sumukh, I visited Rajasthan during October 2016 for 6 days. Take a look at my itinerary for the trip. I flew from Bangalore to jaipur and back from jaipur to Bangalore. I along with my cousins covered jaipur, Bikaner, jodhpur and Udaipur. All the intercity commute was either by Rajasthan state transport or by train. Jaipur : Places to visit : amer fort, hawa mahal, jantar mantar, choki dhani Places to eat : lakshmi mistan bhandar (famous for sweets) Bikaner : Places to visit : junagadh fort Places to eat : bhujia shops in market, chotu motu joshi (a very small authentic restaurant) Jodhpur : Places to visit : meherangarh fort, jaswant thada Activities: zip lining over meherangarh fort(A very beautiful view of blue city and sunset) We walked through the blue city part of Jodhpur to experience the culture and also met the family of the guy who featured in steve mccurry's jodhpur photograph Udaipur : Places to visit : city palace, lake fatehpur, lake pichola Places to eat : shastri poha stall, jayesh mistan bhandar (jalebi breakfast), ambroi restaurant Our itinerary included suggestions from internet and also from the locals we met during our bus/train journey. Shopping: Shopping in Rajasthan has to be done carefully as the goods might not be of good quality at some places. We shopped at following places in these cities Jaipur : gayathri devi trust, some of the items are of poor quality. Jodhpur: in house shop at indhana palace hotel , all the things we purchased are of very good quality and prices are very reasonable. Udaipur : hathipol market particularly cotton palace. A very good place to buy bhandej dress materials and sarees. Happy travelling! Lalitha
