Since, May is very hot month to travel, can someone suggest me some places near Bangalore. I have already booked my tickets to Mattur but after that I would love to explore more. Already done with Ooty, Hokenaggal, Hampi, Coorg, Ramanagar and Pondicherry.

You can try Jog falls (but dry now), Honnemaradu backwaters, Agumbe, Keladi temples, Sakrebail elephant camp and Banavasi. You will feel the heartbeat of hinterlands of Karnataka. Two days are enough for these places. Peaceful locations and will get authentic lip smacking local dishes at reasonable budget.
