Hi Sumesh, so glad to know you are visiting our North East. North East is truly beautiful. I will lay down some places you can visit here. Assam: Home to National Parks (famous Kaziranga for one-horn rhinos) and other Parks. You can also visit the historical places in Tezpur and Sivsagar. Or enjoy the city life in Guwahati. Meghalaya: It is a must and an epitome when it comes to traveling in North East. Home to many highest waterfalls (Nohkalikai Waterfalls) in India and caves system (longest caves system in entire India). The mountains and the living root bridges are truly wonders of nature and one must visit them once in their lives. Shillong is also known as Music hub of North East. Arunachal Pradesh: The untouched, unexplored and wild Arunachal is the closest to finding Shangri-La in North East. The state is still very native and wild, which is perfect to finding serenity amidst the mountains and waterfalls. Some of the popular places are Tawang, Ziro Valley, Pasighat, Aalo, Bodak, Bomdila, Mechuka. Many of these places have their own festivals that attract people from all over the world. Sikkim: Home to the highest mountains, largest tea gardens, majestic waterfalls and lakes, Monasteries. The cleanest state in India has so many to offer. Gurudongmar Lake, Yumthang Valley, Zero Point, Temi Tea Gardens, Plant Conservatory, Tsomgo Lake, Majestic View of Kanchenjunga Mountain and so many. Also Hub to adventure lovers, like trekking, paragliding. You can also visit other states like Nagaland (Dzukow Valley), Manipur (Lohtak Lake) and Tripura.
