If you like to interact with locals and live like the local culture, then you should definitely try Nepal. It is worth the visit. The people around are really friendly and would take care of your safety incase you are travelling alone. I went there in January and I lost my phone on the second day itself. The people were so friendly and helpful, that I could come back safely. It has some amazing places like Pokhra, Nagarkot, Bhatkapur, Chandragiri etc. where you can feel calm and relaxing. You can check out local hostels that are safe and cheap. You will meet lots of foreigners who would accompany you for the entire trip. Tip: If you are a trekk person, make sure you buy all your stuff from Nepal. It has the best quality items like leather pants and trekk boots. It is all imported in India from Nepal so you will get duty free items.
