The white town and and Auroville are main tourist attraction where the French lives.You get to eat really good food in Pondi. The wood fried pizzas, the aurovie bakery, the filter cofee near auro beach are all just amazing, plus pubs and bars. Ladies get to drink free. Pubs and bars specifically, the story tellers bar, the PY cafelove , LB2 longue( all 3 in white town area) , provides free drinks for ladies . They acutually host the "Ladies night out", during a specific day all weeks, not exceeding some 3 hours. Ladies get to drink free, certain brands! Amazing right?
