Both Kasol and udaipur has hills. but udaipur is a beautiful combination of tradition, culture and history whereas, Kasol is mainly a hill station. it depends on your travel preferences... if you want a serene and spiritual experience, go for Kasol and if you are a history buff go for udaipur. further, I guess Kasol will also make a great honeymoon destination. for a romantic change you can switch to kasol

Both places have their own uniqueness and are must to be visited. It totally depends on your choice of place. Udaipur is full of royal forts , lakes . It is an historic place and is definitely must a visit. You can check out places to visit here-https://travelchecklistt.com/udaipur-iternary/ kasol is full of cafe hoping, snow covered peaks and also offers some of the beautiful treks like kheerganga. Parvati valley is also one must to be visited place in kasol. If you need any information check here-https://travelchecklistt.com/parvati-valley-kasol-things-to-do-in-kasol-a-complete-guide/

Depends on the travel month.. If you are planning to go from march to November kasol will be better than Udaipur. If your trip is planned around winters Udaipur is perfect and kasol is lil bit more chilly. Also in the winters many trek routes would be closed near kasol if there is a snowfall. One more tip if you plan by road Udaipur offers amazing Rajasthan roads and beautiful drive. Kasol is equally good but can be scary if planned near monsoons or dec/jan due to weather
