Hi. For a solo traveller , preferring Hostels over hotels will be the best as you will meet many interesting souls on the go. Hostels /Zostel will be cheap also. The budget should be around 4k - 5K. Happy Travelling.

Beauty of Uttarakhand is on top notch from March to May when spclly during the onset of spring
There are many places in Uttarakhand which you can visit from Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun to Valley of Flowers, Mussoorie, Nainital etc...If you plan to travel all this places, avoiding flight tickets & opting for homestay or lodges over hotels,it will cost you around 6k -9k food included

Best time is summers or if you want to witness snow wait for winters...Monsoon are pretty until extreme rains that may spoil the trip..if you are going for 3-4days you can enjoy the whole trip including accomodation and meals in 3-4k..transfers to places like auli depends totally on your choice..you’ll get many cab services from there to take you to hotspots around..all places will definitely will not be covered in such small duration as you need more time..plan for2-5places in this visit and enjoy evry place taking time..plz tell the itinerary required and places?

You can go after monsoons..For a solo Traveller Uttarakhand always be a good place.. You can try do many adventure activities over there.. Cost depends on your lifestyle activities. on 2016 when we made a tour of Haridwar Rishikesh Derahdun Mussouri,cost was 17k(Kolkata to Kolkata) for 2 persons, including Bunjee Jumping and Flying Fox.

One can visit UK anytime it's very beautiful all the times, great to visit during winters.
I did solo UK in April in 22k from Mumbai to Mumbai which includes my return flights fare, stay, food, travel, bungee jumping and shopping.

The best time to travel Uttarakhand would be, from November to March. You can also enjoy the snowfall during the Christmas. I've known people who manage buget traveling well, spending around 6-7k during the tour.
